History of Charlotte's Only Dealership Alternative.

In 1997, Carolina Tire began as Pineville Tire & Service Center a single auto service & repair station. This auto repair shop was located near Charlotte on Pineville Rd at I-485 and was originally branded as a Firestone tire center. Then the assets of Pineville Tire were purchased in 2010 and changed the name to Carolina Tire. From this one store operation, Carolina Tire has grown tremendously.

Our management has been nationally recognized by manufacturers like Bridgestone Tire and Continental Tire as turn-around experts. Our 22 years experience in manufacturing and management in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and China are all brought together for you in the form of the best dealership you can have to service your cars and trucks.

In 2009, Carolina Tire was transformed even better by adding a Master Technician, now making us a European Specialty Facility and Charlotte's Car Care Center.

In addition to the automotive repair facility in Pineville, XL Tire, Inc now owns the old Buffalo Tire location on Monroe Rd in Uptown Charlotte and also owns and operates 3 specialty websites.

The XL Tire, Inc. family wishes to sincerely “Thank You” for the over 13 years of patronage you, our customers have shown us. We have many second generation customers and even repair the automobiles of a number of third generation customers.
